In the celebration of National Marketing month, the Philippines Marketing Association, hold the yearly Strategic Marketing (StratMark) Conference for students, with its title “Stratmark 7 What’s hot? What’s cool?” held last September 4, 2009 at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasig City.

The topics tackled were “Cool Jobs and Possibilities in Marketing” in the Business of Animation, Film Making and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) discussed by Mr. Roger Salazar–President Toon City, Doji Briga –Executive Director f Asia film Institute and Mr. Oscar R. Sanez and Ms. Jamea Garcia, Exective Director for Talent and Development respectively.

Afterwards New Media Marketing also discussed Among their speakers were staff maintenance of Yahoo Philippines, Mr. Jonas Renojo de los Reyes followed by Mr. Edward David of www.clickthecity.com, Business Development Director.

Also Mr. Butch Jimenez, Vice President of SMART Communication Inc., and Mr. Raymond Liboro VP of Makisig Network/ ESPN talked about the trend of sports marketing. The Infotainment or Edutainment were the discussed byone of the sports reporter of ABS-CBN Sports Unlimited Ms. Dyan Castillejo. While DJ Mo Twister hosted the panel discussion to clarify things to the delegates.

The event was participated by different universities and colleges nationwide, PSU sent 60 students with Dr. Narciso Castro and Mrs. Jasmine de Guzman with the help of Mrs. Magnnymidel Fernandez.
